Brendon Robinson brings a unique blend of corporate leadership, entrepreneurship, and community advocacy to the cannabis industry. Prior to cannabis, Brendon served as a Business Banking Market Director for Santander Bank, where he led commercial growth initiatives, advised business owners on capital strategy, and managed high-performing teams across competitive markets. This background provides a strong foundation in financial strategy, operations, and disciplined execution.

As a cannabis entrepreneur, Brendon is the Co-Founder of Mudd Brothers Cannabis Co., the first Black-owned cannabis brand to successfully launch in the State of New Jersey. Through Mudd Brothers, he has helped navigate regulatory complexity, brand development, retail partnerships, and market entry, bringing a business-first approach to building a sustainable, compliant cannabis brand.

In parallel, Brendon has led and supported restorative justice and workforce development initiatives across New Jersey. Through platforms such as 420NJEvents, he has organized expungement clinics, career workshops, entrepreneurship events, and medical cannabis access initiatives designed to expand opportunity and participation within the industry.

Additionally, through the Minority Cannabis Academy, Brendon has created and sustained an educational platform focused on equipping individuals from historically disenfranchised communities with the technical knowledge, professional skills, and career readiness needed to enter and advance within the cannabis sector, including support with job placement and long-term career development.

PRE- CANNABIS CAREER SUMMARY

  • Brendon was a career Business Banking professional prior to entering the cannabis industry. He’s the proud recipient of (5) consecutive President’s Club Awards between 2014-2019. Brendon credits his time in banking and the experiences he gathered for a lot of his success.
  • Brendon saw the opportunity to spread awareness and
    strategized on how to use cannabis legalization as a means to help educate the communities that had been most  disproportionately impacted by the War on Drugs.
  • Alongside his partner & Co-Founder, Stanley Okoro,
    Brendon successful launched both 420NJEvents, Minority
    Cannabis Academy and Mudd Brothers Cannabis. Three
    completely different organizations focusing on parallel social issues, education & equality in cannabis.
     

POST-CANNABIS CAREER SUMMARY

  • Brendon, alongside his partner Stanley Okoro, started the first black owned cannabis brand in New Jersey, entitled Mudd Brothers. Mudd Brothers is currently being sold in over 80+ dispensaries throughout the state.

 

  • Brendon is the Co-Founder of the first Black owned Adult Learning Academy for cannabis in the Tri-State and he’s partnered with major companies such as Dutchie, Columbia Care, Genova Burns and Rutgers University to be a resource to the cannabis community & create a more diverse & inclusive industry.
